Now in its sixth edition, the “Festival Onde Musicali sul Lago d’Iseo” takes place from 25 May to 9 September 2023 and features a rich programme of appointments with classical, symphonic, opera and chamber music: 75 events, 73 of which are free admission, will be held in evocative art sites and fascinating natural settings.

Paid-entry concerts

Two ticketed evenings occur in exclusive locations not normally open to the public: Villa Lanza in Predore and the Island of Loreto.

The first is Villa Lanza, a private residence dating back to the 15th century that stands on the ruins of Predore Castle, destroyed in the Middle Ages during the internal wars between Guelphs and Ghibellines.
It will be here that the ‘Onde Musicali sul Lago d’Iseo’ festival will make a stop on Saturday 22 July, offering an exciting concert entitled ‘Le Mezze Stagioni’, curated by Cesare Carretta and the Soloists of the Italian Philharmonic Orchestra.

The second location is Isola di Loreto, one of the small islands guarding Monte Isola. An exclusive and mysterious little castle, hidden by the park’s vegetation surrounding it. Let yourself be seduced by the beauty of the botanical garden, with its rare and lush species. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit this magical place, which inspired “L’isola degli idealisti”, one of the stories by the writer Giorgio Scerbanenco, who moved to Iseo during the Second World War.

The exclusive appointment on the Island of Loreto is set for Saturday 9 September, at 4 p.m., with a repeat performance at 6.30 p.m., with a concert by the Rapsodia Saxophone Quartet.
