Santus & Spring Festival – 8th and 9th March 2025

On the occasion of the Spring Festival - Food and Culture in Franciacorta Gianfranco and Maria Luisa will take you among the rows in front of the cellar to tell you about the organic agronomic techniques they use in the vineyard, and then take you inside the company and show you tanks, wood and aging rooms, where the bottles rest for many years.

During the two days dedicated to the new wine season, tastings and a special event will take place.

  • SPECIAL EVENT
"MOMENTS OF SENSORY EDUCATION - Approach to perceptive mechanisms through Franciacorta Satèn"

A unique experience that will accompany participants on a sensorial journey through the three fundamental phases of the evolution of Franciacorta Satèn.

During the tasting, we will explore:

  • The genesis of the wine: tasting the 2024 vintage Franciacorta base, about to be bottled, directly from the tank
  • The evolution on the yeasts: the young Franciacorta Satèn vintage 2023, still in the refinement phase, will be tasted after disgorgement at volley, revealing the first nuances of complexity to all the senses
  • The final product: the 2021 vintage Franciacorta Satèn in its finished form.

The tasting will be led by Stefania Pompele, agrotechnician and sensory analyst with over a decade of experience in tasting training. Teacher and consultant in the Food & Beverage sector, Stefania will make her expertise available, making the experience engaging and educational.

At the end of the sensory analysis it will be possible to visit the cellar, immersing yourself in the magic of the place where Satèn Santus is born.

Those who wish to extend the experience will be able, at an additional cost, to taste other Franciacorta and artisanal cured meats

  • VISITS WITH TASTING

After discovering all the secrets of Franciacorta along the visit route, you will be accompanied on a tasting to discover the company's wines accompanied by local cured meats.

The cost includes a visit to the cellar, tasting of 2 glasses of Franciacorta and a selection of cured meats.
