These gray limestone structures are located above the town of Lovere. The first you come across, climbing from below, is a long, partly overhanging wall recently equipped by Federico Canobbio and Mauro Filippi called the Loverina. Higher up there are a series of limestone towers, the historic gym of the CAI of Lovere, where it has been climbing since 1912. Starting from the bottom you meet the Torre 24 Maggio, the Torre Antonietta, the Corno di San Giovanni and above all the horn of the Cockerel. Further to the right, you can see another tower called the Cornetto, with no itineraries.

Access: from Piazza Garibaldi in Lovere take via Matteotti and go up via Oprandi; upon reaching the roundabout, take the first street on the right and then continue along via San Maurizio, then take (on the right) the XXV Aprile and 1 ° Maggio. Here, turn into via Gerone and park your car in the appropriate spaces. All in 5 minutes. Then continue on foot along via Castelliere, first on an asphalted road and then on a path. A fountain is located just before the path on the right. Continuing along the panoramic path also on stones and in the woods, after about 20 minutes you reach the first tower, that of May 24, at the base of which there is a red arrow indicating the left. Keeping to the right and wearing a helmet, you come to a niche created by a large boulder leaning against the wall of the Corno Grande where you can make a base. Inside there are bulletin boards with some streets.

Gear:
– Loverina: new bolted with chains at the belays
– Corno San Giovanni: very varied, there are mountaineering routes with pitons and bolts and routes fully equipped with bolts or resinated. Except for a few cases, the routes are almost all of the multiple pitches, 2-3, with rappels equipped for abseiling.
