The “Bee Trail” is a nature trail created by the Municipality of Sulzano with the contribution of the European Community and the Lombardy Region.

The trail is designed to introduce us to the world of bees and understand their importance to our everyday lives. We will learn about them, how they live, and where they live. Along the way, with the help of information boards and an educational apiary, we will discover the importance of bees and their protection; how to recognize other pollinating bees; where bees live, what they produce, and how we can help them.

DE – Der Bienenpfad ist ein Naturlehrpfad, der von der Gemeinde Sulzano mit Mitteln der Europäischen Gemeinschaft und der Region Lombardei angelegt wurde.

Der Pfad soll uns die Welt der Bienen näherbringen und ihre Bedeutung für unseren Alltag verdeutlichen. Wir erfahren mehr über sie, wie und wo sie leben. Unterwegs erfahren wir mithilfe von Informationstafeln und einem Lehrbienenstand die Bedeutung der Bienen und ihren Schutz, wie man andere bestäubende Bienen erkennt, wo Bienen leben, was sie produzieren und wie wir ihnen helfen können.

The path/Der Web

The route begins in the center of Sulzano, along Via Diaz, near the kindergarden, and continues uphill along the mule track. At the intersection with the paved road, turn slightly left and then right along Via Diaz. The route continues upward, and the paved road gives way to the mule track leading to Nistisino. Before reaching the village, on the left, you’ll reach the apiary, where educational activities are available. The route ends in Nistisino, where you can reach the picnic area with a designated barbecue area.

DE – Die Route beginnt im Zentrum von Sulzano, entlang der Via Diaz, in der Nähe des Kindergartens, und führt weiter bergauf auf dem Saumpfad.

How to arrive and where to park/Anreise und Parkplatz

Follow the signs for Lake Iseo and continue towards Sulzano. If you’re coming from the coastal road, reach the roundabout near the town hall and drive up to the parking area; if you’re coming from the SP 510, take the Sulzano exit and drive down towards the town center until you reach the parking areas.
Parking is available near the train station, with an hourly rate, or in other areas with a daily rate. Free parking space in Nistisino.

DE – Folgen Sie der Beschilderung zum Iseosee und fahren Sie weiter in Richtung Sulzano.
