Le Distillerie di Sarnico 1886

Pòta! Che Grappa is produced by the only distillery in the province of Bergamo. The pomace comes from Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot grapes harvested for the most part in the Valcalepio wine production area.

The distillery carefully follows all stages of processing: from the selection and storage of the pomace, to distillation, bottling and distribution.

In an antique shop in Bergamo Alta, surrounded by ancient Venetian walls, now a Unesco Heritage, we discovered a parchment dated April 16th, 1912 from an old distillery, closed after World War II, on which a bottle of Premiato Amaro San Pellegrino is reproduced, the first concrete testimony of its long tradition. We have updated the ancient recipe, which involves the infusion of officinal herbs and alpine aromatic plants in alcohol and water from the San Pellegrino valley, seat of the ancient spa, and created an amaro after meal to be served cold, appreciated for its pleasantness and digestibility.

  • Amarozero San Pellegrino – Zero Alcohol Recipe

Dedicated to all those who make respect for health their lifestyle, we have created and tested an alcohol-free version of Amaro San Pellegrino, called Amarozero. A product designed for the world of wellness, which in Italy has about 8 million followers. Amarozero should be kept in the refrigerator and tasted cold to best savor its unmistakable aroma. Amarozero can also be purchased at spas and in the best pharmacies.
