The Nordic Walking Park winds along the Bossico plateau (BG), in a natural environment characterized by woods, pastures, large clearings and breathtaking views, given the view over the surrounding valleys and Lake Iseo, like a real natural balcony.

The “Bossico-Ceratello” route is in line and starts from Piazza San Pietro, continues on Via 4 Novembre, Via Papa Giovanni XXIII and, after a group of houses, on the right at the crossroads with a Santella.

DE – Der Nordic Walking Park schlängelt sich entlang der Bossico-Hochebene (BG), in einer natürlichen Umgebung, die von Wäldern, Weiden, großen Lichtungen und atemberaubenden Ausblicken geprägt ist, angesichts der Aussicht auf die umliegenden Täler und den Iseosee, wie ein echter natürlicher Balkon. 

Die Route “Bossico-Ceratello” ist eine Linie und beginnt an der Piazza San Pietro, führt weiter über die Via 4 Novembre, die Via Papa Giovanni XXIII und nach einer Häusergruppe an der Kreuzung mit einem Santella auf der rechten Seite.

The trail / der Weg

The route starts from the main square of the village of Bossico, Piazza S. Pietro, and winds its way for 900 m on an paved road, and then continues on a road with regular cobblestones and a compact gravel surface, with an alternation of ups and downs and flat stretches overlooking a side on the woods and on the other on a panorama in which the gaze constantly dives into the lake.

The route arrives in Ceratello, a hamlet in the municipality of Costa Volpino, a small mountain village between stone houses and wooden loggias.

DE – Die Route beginnt am Hauptplatz des Dorfes Bossico, der Piazza S. Pietro, und schlängelt sich 900 m auf einer asphaltierten Straße und dann weiter auf einer Straße mit regelmäßigem Kopfsteinpflaster und einer kompakten Schotteroberfläche mit abwechselnden Steigungen und Gefälle und Flachstücke mit Blick auf eine Seite auf den Wald und auf der anderen auf ein Panorama, bei dem der Blick ständig in den See eintaucht.

Die Route erreicht Ceratello, einen Weiler in der Gemeinde Costa Volpino, ein kleines Bergdorf zwischen Steinhäusern und Holzloggien.

How to arrive and where to park / Anreise und Parkplätze

Follow the signs for Lake Iseo and then for Lovere. Take the SP 53 of Valle Borlezza and continue following the signs for Bossico.

Parking spaces are present near Piazza S. Pietro and Bossico’s sports field.

DE – Man folgt der Beschilderung zum Iseosee und weiter nach Lovere. Man nimmt dann die SP 53 von Valle Borlezza und folgt weiter den Schildern nach Bossico.
