Easy walk from the center of Castro to the Church of San Lorenzo; a balcony overlooking Lake Iseo.

The trail / der Weg

From the town hall of Castro continue along via Matteotti and cross the historic center of the village. Once on Via Papa Giovanni XXIII, continue to the Church of the Nativity of Mary and turn right uphill along via Corna.

The asphalted road then becomes a mule track and path which, along the Castro cliff, leads in a short time to the “Büsa dei Lader” and the Church of San Lorenzo, a wonderful terrace overlooking Lake Iseo.

DE – Vom Rathaus Castro läuft man auf  Via Matteotti bis zum Zentrum des Dorfs. Sobald man auf der Via Papa Giovanni XXIII angekommen ist, geht man weiter bis zur Kirche Natività di Maria und biegt hier rechts bergauf entlang der Via Corna ab.

Die asphaltierte Straße wird dann zu einem Saumpfad und Pfad, der entlang des Castro-Kliffs in kurzer Zeit zur “Büsa dei Lader” und der Kirche San Lorenzo führt, einer wunderschönen Terrasse mit Blick auf den Iseosee.

How to arrive and where to park / Anreise und Parkplätze

Follow the direction to Lake Iseo. Take the SP 469 up to Castro.

Parking along Via Matteotti or “Parcheggio Area Feste”.

DE – Man muss der Beschilderung zum Iseosee folgen und die SP 469 bis nach Castro nehmen.
