The route of the Brescia-Paratico bicycle path has starts in Piazza della Loggia, in the city centre, and offers panoramic views of the Franciacorta hills and Lake Iseo.

The itinerary can be done in both directions: from Brescia to Paratico and from Paratico to Brescia

DE- Die Route des Radwegs Brescia-Paratico hat als Ausgangspunkt Piazza della Loggia im Zentrum der Stadt und bietet einen Panoramablick auf die Hügel von Franciacorta und den Iseosee.

Die Route kann in beide Richtungen verfolgt werden: von Brescia nach Paratico und von Paratico nach Brescia.

From Brescia to Paratico

From Piazza della Loggia, several indications allow you to easily exit the city of Brescia and reach the municipalities of Cellatica, Gussago and Rodengo Saiano, where a visit to the monastic complex of S. Nicola’s Abbey is recommended. After crossing cultivated fields, you reach the centre of Paderno Franciacorta. Later, an avenue of oaks and lime trees leads to the Castle of Passirano. Then, you cross a hilly area planted with vineyards in Monterotondo di Passirano and, subsequently, in Provaglio d’Iseo. After passing the industrial area and reaching the crossroads with the Santellone, continue left to the Provaglio – Timoline railway station. After the level crossing, on the right, a dirt road allows you to closely enjoy the suggestive landscape of the Torbiere del Sebino Nature Reserve, up to the intersection with the provincial road for Iseo. After crossing the provincial road, you arrive in the hamlet of Cremignane, where the lake finally appears. A quiet country road leads to Clusane d’Iseo where, at the beginning of the lakefront, there is the Carmagnola castle. Back on the provincial road, along the cycle path you get to Paratico. The bridge connecting with Sarnico marks the end of the route.

DE – Von Piazza della Loggia aus kann man die Stadt Brescia dank der zahlreichen Hinweisschilder leicht verlassen und die Gemeinden Cellatica, Gussago und Rodengo Saiano erreichen, wo ein Besuch des Klosterkomplexes der Abtei S. Nicola empfohlen wird. Durch die Überquerung bewirtschafteter Felder erreicht man das Zentrum von Paderno Franciacorta. Später führt eine Eichen- und Lindenallee zum Schloss von Passirano. Dann durchquert man ein hügeliges Gebiet mit Weinbergen in Monterotondo di Passirano und anschließend in Provaglio d’Iseo. Nachdem man das Industriegebiet passiert hat und die Kreuzung mit dem Santellone erreicht hat, fährt man links bis zum Bahnhof Provaglio – Timoline. Nach dem Bahnübergang rechts auf einem Feldweg kann man die eindrucksvolle Landschaft des Naturschutzgebietes Torbiere del Sebino bis zur Kreuzung mit der Provinzstraße nach Iseo genießen. Nach Überquerung der Provinzstraße erreicht man den Weiler Cremignane, wo schließlich der See erscheint. Eine ruhige Landstraße führt nach Clusane d’Iseo, wo sich am Anfang des Seeufers das Schloss Carmagnola befindet. Zurück auf der Provinzstraße gelangt man auf dem Radweg nach Paratico. Die Brücke nach Sarnico markiert das Ende der Route.

From Paratico to Brescia

The bridge that connects Paratico with Sarnico and marks the border between the provinces of Brescia and Bergamo is the starting point of the itinerary towards Brescia. Along the cycle path you arrive at Clusane d’Iseo where, at the beginning of the lakefront, the Castle of Carmagnola rises majestically. Shortly after the Parish Church, turn left onto a quiet country road that leads to another hamlet of Iseo: Cremignane. At the intersection with the provincial road for Iseo, cross the road and skirt the Torbiere Nature Reserve, a magical and fascinating landscape, with vineyards and reeds around the lakes. Once at the Provaglio – Timoline railway station, continue to the crossroads with the Santellone, where you turn left and then immediately right into Via Combattenti. At the end of the street, turn right again and continue following the signs for the cycle path. A path through the vineyards leads to Monterotondo di Passirano, the Castle of Passirano and the centre of Paderno Franciacorta. From here the ride continues through cultivated fields to S. Nicola’s Abbey, located in Rodengo Saiano. After visiting the monastic complex, continue cycling towards Brescia meeting first Gussago and then Cellatica, at the gates of the city. The arrival point is Piazza della Loggia.

DE – Die Brücke, die Paratico mit Sarnico verbindet und die Grenze zwischen den Provinzen Brescia und Bergamo markiert, ist der Ausgangspunkt der Route in Richtung Brescia. Auf dem Radweg erreicht man Clusane d’Iseo, wo sich am Anfang des Seeufers das Schloss von Carmagnola majestätisch erhebt. Kurz nach der Pfarrkirche biegt man links auf eine ruhige Landstraße ab, die zu einem weiteren Weiler von Iseo führt: Cremignane. An der Kreuzung mit der Provinzstraße nach Iseo überquert man die Straße und umgeht das Naturschutzgebiet Torbiere del Sebino, eine magische und faszinierende Landschaft mit Weinbergen und Schilf um die Seen. Wenn man am Bahnhof Provaglio – Timoline ankommt, fährt man bis zur Kreuzung mit der Santellone, wo man links abbiegt und dann sofort rechts in die Via Combattenti. Am Ende der Straße wieder rechts abbiegen und weiter der Beschilderung zum Radweg folgen. Ein Weg durch die Weinberge führt nach Monterotondo di Passirano, dem Schloss von Passirano und dem Zentrum von Paderno Franciacorta. Von hier geht die Fahrt weiter durch kultivierte Felder zur Abtei S. Nicola in Rodengo Saiano. Nach dem Besuch des Klosterkomplexes radelt man weiter in Richtung Brescia, wo man zuerst Gussago und dann Cellatica vor den Toren der Stadt trifft. Der Ankunftspunkt ist Piazza della Loggia.
